Wila Gutharra Community Aboriginal Corporation

Wila Gutharra is a strong dynamic organisation that has emerged from a period of upheaval and uncertainty due to federal government changes to Indigenous programs and funding. The organisation has moved from total dependence upon government funding to independence and fee for service programs. Wila Gutharra’s employment programs have been extremely successful and we have established our own Registered Training Organisation. Our mentoring services have been vital in supporting Indigenous recruitment and sustainable employment in the mining industry, as well as providing support to employers and other recruitment agencies. Our youth programs have provided support to young indigenous people , assisting them to build confidence, obtain skills and move into employment.
We operate our own Child Care Centre, an automotive repair shop and a biosecurity business.
