EMPLOYMENT

 

Wila Gutharra is contracted by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to deliver a fee for service Indigenous Employment Program. The focus of this program is to provide pre-employment barrier to employment elimination training and strategies, skill acquisition, sustainable employment and holistic mentor support. Wila has successfully placed over 300 participants into work over the past 30 months.

Pre Employment Barrier Elimination:
 resume preparation; drug & alcohol awareness; money management; conflict resolution; personal presentation; time management; anger management; career counseling; OS&H; White card; skills acquisition; job search support facilities; work culture; work experience; assistance with job applications; canvassing potential employers on your behalf.

Mentor Support:

Provides the necessary support to both our clients and his/her family to ensure completion of training and retention in employment once this has been obtained.
